By being a member of Lancaster Photographic Society I was able to experience an afternoon of Football League photography . Last Saturday (8th Feb) myself an 2 other members , Brad and Tony , were set to meet at 2pm ready to shoot the home game .
After being shown around the touchline and gaining advice on the best and worst places to stand we opted for the sideline towards Mansfields goal line . Unfortunately there weren't any goals in the first half but quite a bit of action .
At halftime we decided to change ends , again hoping for a Morecambe goal , unfortunately that wasn't to be and Mansfield scored the opener in the 60th minute .
Morcambe soon regrouped and attacked relentlessly before equalising in the 85th minute .
With 5 minutes added time and then the final whistle , most of the players seemed content with the draw .
All the images were shot with my trusty Canon 5DMKii and 70-200L series lens . Full size and more images can be found here .
